Maximus Federal is seeking medical providers to join our Medical Consultant panel to be an Expert Medical Independent Reviewer. This position is Remote, 1099, Supplemental Income.

This role requires a Nurse Practitioner working in General Surgery with at least 20 hours of direct patient care per month, reviewing medical files and providing expert opinions.

• At least 20 hours of direct patient care per month.
• 3 years’ experience in the appropriate specialty post training.
• Must not be a VA employee, active-duty military, or provide care in military facilities.
• Must currently be working in General Surgery for at least 20 hours per month.

$100 per case to $200 per case (30 minutes to 1 hour+ to complete).

Review medical records and provide independent medical expert opinions. No liability for diagnosing or seeing patients; review and consult only.

You will be under Maximus’s coverage so within these reviews you are not liable for anything. You are not diagnosing or seeing any patients; you are merely reviewing a file and providing your medical expert opinion.
