Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our Hospice team in Overland Park, KS. This is an opportunity to guide a dedicated team of clinicians while ensuring exceptional care for patients and families during some of life's most important moments.

We're looking for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about hospice care, committed to excellence, and ready to support and develop an outstanding team.

Schedule:

Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

What You'll Do

* Provide leadership and oversight of all hospice clinical services in the Overland Park area

* Ensure quality patient care through planning, implementation, and evaluation of services

* Supervise, mentor, and develop clinical staff

* Conduct chart audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and CHAP standards

* Identify and evaluate patient care needs

* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records

* Assist with onboarding and orientation of new clinicians

* Complete patient visits as needed

* Manage medical supplies and clinical resources

* Ensure all hospice operations remain compliant with federal, state, and accreditation standards

What We're Looking For

* Graduate of an accredited nursing program

* Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

* Minimum of two years of experience in hospice or skilled home health leadership

* Knowledge of hospice regulations, business operations, and CHAP standards

* Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills

* Ability to build relationships with patients, families, referral partners, and the community

* Positive attitude, self-confidence, and a passion for leading others
