Title: Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Setting: Outpatient primary care clinic

Departments: Pediatrics and Family Medicine

Location: Kansas City, KS

Schedule: Full-time, Mon‑Fri 8am‑5pm, with one evening until 7pm per week

Pay: Competitive hourly pay based on experience plus full benefits

Duties:

• Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a registered nurse and/or medical provider
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height) and accurately records information on patients' charts and records
• Draws blood samples from patients; prepares samples and other specimens for laboratory analysis with appropriate requisitions
• Conducts vision screens, ear irrigations, finger sticks, phlebotomy, hearing screens, asthma nebulizer treatments, or other clinic approved procedures
• Prepares and maintains accurate, updated, and thorough medical records for providers

Requirements:

• Active Kansas or compact Licensed Practical Nurse license
• At least one year of nursing experience, outpatient is a plus
• Up to date on vaccinations (COVID not required)
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
