We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven Documentation Specialist to support Medicaid processes across multiple markets. This role requires strong critical thinking, multitasking abilities, and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking Medicaid adjustments, coordinating with customers and facility staff, and ensuring timely and accurate documentation of policy statuses.
Key Responsibilities- Learn and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicaid processes across various state markets.
- Monitor Medicaid policy adjustments.
- Access and review applicable portals to check for Medicaid adjustments.
- Communicate with customers and partner staff effectively.
- Follow a structured monthly follow-up process.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all communications and actions taken.
- Proven accurate and concise documentation preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Critical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer.
