Overview

Mid-America Surgery Institute () is an accredited surgery center. We are staffed by a skilled team of registered nurses and OR techs. Our Suites are equipped with sophisticated monitors, technical equipment and instrumentation. Performing over 600 cases a month. Our specialties include urology, orthopedics, plastics, ENT, gastroenterology, OB/GYN, podiatry and pain. Our Center is located next to Menorah Medical Center. We are in close proximity to the center of town.

We are a proud member of the Ambulatory Surgery Division of HCA Healthcare.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the transfer, positioning and transport of your patients
  • Assist in overturning your operating rooms between cases
  • Perform terminal cleaning of your surgical area
  • Maintain sufficient supply levels, cleanliness and orderliness of all your equipment and supplies
  • Answer phones
  • Assist with computer data entry
Qualifications
  • One year patient care assistance in an nursing or environmental services environment
  • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment
