RN Surgical Services Liaison (Surgical Services Liaison)

Menorah Medical Center is looking for an RN to serve as a liaison in the Surgical Services department, focusing on customer service, patient flow, and coordination among multidisciplinary teams.

• Provide high‑quality customer service to patients, families, and staff in the surgical and perioperative areas.
• Problem solve daily challenges and facilitate effective communication between departments.
• Maintain a calm, empathetic, and professional demeanor while interacting with patients and physicians.
• Assist with patient flow and perioperative processes.
• Communicate patient and family issues to physicians and other relevant stakeholders.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school with an Associate Degree in Nursing, Diploma, or BSN; familiarity with AORN Standards/Recommended Practices.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN license from the Kansas Board of Nursing or an active compact license;
  American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. CNOR and/or specialty certification preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in a surgical setting, including circulating and scrub roles.
