Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Wichita, Kansas

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start:
April 7, 2026

• Provide direct patient care across labor, delivery, and postpartum in an LDRP setting with a low-risk, birthing-center-style environment
• Perform and assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, NSTs, and circumcisions
• Maintain patient ratios of 1–2:1 for labor and 3–4:1 for postpartum patients
• Utilize GE fetal monitoring, Monica Novii, and Alaris pumps; document in CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Participate in bedside shift report, communication board updates, and nurse leader rounding to support patient experience
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including residents, a dedicated anesthesia team, and a 24/7 available Hospitalist

• Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Current IFMC or AWHONN certification

• OR circulating experience
• Labor positioning and Spinning Babies experience
• Experience managing OB emergencies

• Work in a unique, dedicated birth suites facility with a birthing-center feel, a tenured and collaborative nursing team, a cesarean rate averaging under 10%, and strong patient experience and employee engagement scores
