Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA Day shift

Kaw River Care and Rehab – Edwardsville, KS

We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our dynamic and caring clinical team. As a CNA you provide total care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) – washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care and catheter care. You follow the resident plan of care or CNA assignment card, reposition residents as required, record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight, and perform range‑of‑motion exercises as needed.

You monitor residents for changes in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior, and report any concerns to the nursing staff. You maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations while providing excellent customer service and building relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.

• Completed a state‑approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current Kansas certification/registration to practice (reinstatement assistance available).
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.

Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required.

This full‑time position works 12‑hour night shifts.
