Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room, you will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care, acting as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team, using nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, & Manage.”

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient pain and manage it, including reassessments after interventions.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions ordered by the medical provider.
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate and resolve needs proactively.
  • Teach patients and families about medical condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology.
  • Advocate for patients/families/caregivers and model the organization’s vision, mission, and values.
Qualifications
  • RN license;
    Registered Nurse Diploma.
  • Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses or Trauma Nursing Core Course obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 1 year of start date.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
  • No travel required.
  • Years of experience:
    No experience required.
