Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Job Description

The RN - CV assists the Interventional Cardiologist and CV Specialist in providing care for patients undergoing diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiac catheterization, pacemaker, and automatic internal cardiac defibrillator implants, peripheral vascular interventions, structural heart disease interventions, and other procedures involving the cardiac and vascular systems. Incumbents in this position assist physicians by implementing and performing a cardiac catheterization plan of care using standards of A.O.R.N. aseptic technique, cardiac and peripheral anatomy and physiology, radiographic imaging technique, standards of nursing care, and principles of cardiovascular technology.

Position requires multi‑campus work and multi‑campus call.

• 1 year of Advanced Cardiac Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse – various associate degree

• Full Time, Day shift
