OverviewUtilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
PositionDetails
Mercy South Emergency Department – Level II Trauma Center, Level I Stroke and STEMI Center, 63‑bed unit. Night shift (6:00 pm–6:30 am), 36 hours per week.
- Must hold current Missouri RN license (or acceptable compact licensure) and meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Required to push, pull, or lift 50 pounds regularly and perform prolonged standing and walking.
- Must hold Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
- Compensation includes:
Stay Premium Program (up to $8/hour), incentives, and shift differentials.
