Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join their outpatient infusion center on a temporary basis to provide maternity leave coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys building relationships with patients while delivering high-quality infusion therapy in a collaborative, family-oriented specialty practice.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate is patient-centered, dependable, team-oriented, and experienced with IV infusions in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities- Administer biologic infusions in an outpatient infusion center following established clinical protocols.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after infusion treatments for safety and comfort.
- Assess patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately when necessary.
- Accurately document treatments, assessments, and patient information within the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients regarding infusion procedures, medications, and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Maintain compliance with infection control standards and medication administration guidelines.
- Support clinic operations and assist with additional nursing responsibilities as needed.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous IV infusion experience required.
- Strong computer and electronic medical record (EMR) skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and dependable with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in an outpatient infusion center.
- Oncology, Rheumatology, or Urology nursing experience.
- Experience with biologic infusions.
- Familiarity with Next Gen EMR.
$45–$50 per hour
