Oncology RN Travel Assignment

Seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a travel assignment. The role involves providing specialized oncology nursing care in a fast-paced environment for an eight-week period.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments to patients.
• Assess patient conditions and monitor for adverse reactions or complications.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and clinical standards during patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with state-specific requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience.
• Ability to work 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts.
• Strong assessment and patient communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in administering chemotherapy and managing side effects.
• No chemotherapy certification required.
