Role Overview
The Registered Nurse in the NICU provides specialized patient care in a Level 3B NICU setting, under the supervision of the Director or Manager.
Responsibilities- Deliver nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, state laws, ANA standards, and unit protocols.
- Support families and manage complex critical care situations with professionalism and composure.
- Coordinate patient care, assume accountability, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in applicable state(s) or active compact license.
- BLS certification required; NRP certification to be obtained within six months.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience; previous NICU or critical care experience preferred.
Ability to work in high-pressure environments, support families, and demonstrate critical thinking and compassion.
