Registered Nurse; RN

Role:

The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a specialized Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a Level 2 Trauma Center.

• Performing procedures, monitoring, and documenting patient care as ordered by medical providers.
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes.
• Managing evidence-based practices and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans supporting recovery.
• Advocating for patients and modeling organizational values to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an ADN or BSN degree.
• Current RN license in the practice state(s) or active compact license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within three months of hire.
• Minimum one year hospital experience, preferably in cardiac or acute care.
