We are seeking a NICU Transport Nurse to provide critical neonatal care during ground and air transports, collaborating with the Medical Control Provider and the Maternal Leadership Team.
Key responsibilities- identifying, planning, and executing stabilization and emergency care for NICU patients
- serving as an ambassador for the organization to referring facilities and providers
- delivering care in accordance with hospital policies, state Nurse Practice Acts, and AAP guidelines
- performing transport duties primarily by ground and helicopter, with occasional fixed-wing flights
- maintaining daily transport responsibilities with a collaborative, unit-based approach
- nursing degree and current RN licensure in applicable states
- minimum of 3 years NICU experience in a tertiary obstetrical care center
- BCLS and NRP certification, maintained during employment
