Role Overview:

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Specialty Unit delivers high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers to manage pre-operative and post-operative cardiac patients. They assess patient conditions, perform procedures, administer medications, and document care accurately.

• Assess patient status during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform ordered procedures and document care thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac care procedures, medications, and equipment.
• Support skill development and handle complex cardiac conditions in a team-oriented environment.

• Graduate of nursing school.
• Current RN license in applicable state(s) or active compact license.
• Current BCLS certification; ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
