Overview
Associates in Store Support positions are responsible for a variety of non-sales functions, including ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the lot, and providing administrative services. Direct customer or vendor interaction is sometimes required. These positions play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and must work cooperatively with other Associates, vendors, carriers, and customers with minimal supervision.
They should be detail-oriented and demonstrate time management skills, integrity, and a focus on store-specific business objectives while supporting key operational responsibilities. Specific positions may include:
Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.
- Support non-sales functions to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers in the store lot and direct them to departments or merchandise as needed.
- Handle administrative tasks and program compliance as assigned.
- Interact with customers and vendors as required, and respond to operational concerns of store associates.
- Work cooperatively with team members, vendors, and carriers with little/some supervision.
- Detail-oriented with proven time management skills.
- High level of integrity and the ability to stay focused on store objectives.
