Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

This role supports the freezers, coolers, and deli areas by stocking, maintaining product quality and sanitation, and delivering member service on the front lines in the deli department when applicable.

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps; following proper forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials; and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Maintains the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, and completing required documentation; securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
• Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues; promotes the Company's products and services.
• Follows Company policies related to Freezer/Cooler area by complying with food handling policies; operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment; following Cold Chain procedures; cleaning the area; and reporting issues to Management.
• Maintains temperature control and verifies expiration dates; disposes of lesser-quality food products as needed.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experience with stocking and customer service is preferred
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality products are available and properly labeled
• Ability to adapt to changing tasks and environments; willingness to learn and engage in continuous improvement
