POSITION SUMMARY
The Retail Compliance Specialist will administer and support field operations of all retail compliance activities, retailer relationship management, SOP maintenance, and operational support in order to effectively mitigate customer risk associated with retail compliance issues. This position will be the initial support level for all things retail compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Partner with Implementation team to provide retail compliance support for new customers.
- Draft or update retailer/customer specific work instructions and SOPs.
- Support current customer requests for new retailer onboarding and current retailer updates.
- Monitor compliance-related integrations and provide support as needed to IT Team.
- Communicate updates and progress to customers and employees through Service Now tickets and email.
- Monitor and manage PO due dates for high priority customers to mitigate chargebacks.
- Support operational teams by entering shipment details into retail web portals so carriers can be assigned, and shipments are ready for pickup.
- Review audits in SWIMS to ensure the right activity is captured and billed to customers to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Work closely and train the operations team to ensure retail specific guidelines and deadlines are met.
- Make updates in SWIMS when necessary to transmit correct data mandated by retailers.
- Identify and improve retail compliance processes and tasks.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Solutions Architect.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and related professional experience.
- 1+ years of industry work experience preferably experience in an administrative role or in a supply chain related position.
- Previous experience with compliance processes including labels, portal work, vendor requirements, etc.
- Strong oral and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills; ability to quickly build rapport with both customer and Smart Warehousing business units.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
- Detail oriented and investigative personality; not afraid to ask why.
- Ability to apply time management principles to complete multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong teamwork orientation and ability to work independently.
- High sense of urgency.
While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to see, hear, talk, write, read, stand, walk, bend over, and be alert at all times. The employee is frequently required to use hands to type, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. While infrequent, employee may need to visit warehouse locations in which employee may need to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, drive (vehicle), stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
