Responsibilities and expectations for a Merchandising Associate include:

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and executing business processes.
• Operate forklifts in accordance with company standards and guidelines, safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
• Receive, organize, and inventory merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; manage inventory flow and keep required paperwork and logs.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, guiding and supporting them regarding self‑service technology, purchasing decisions, and locating merchandise; resolve member issues and promote company products and services.
• Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and hazardous‑materials handling procedures, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies: zone the area, stock and rotate merchandise, remove damaged or out‑of‑date goods, set up cleaning and product displays, maintain modular integrity, stage merchandise, and ensure prominent display of promotional and seasonal items.
• Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders, auditing accuracy, and ensuring timely completion.
• Handle inventory moves and displays safely, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, control shrinkage, report poor inventory practices, and use inventory tools appropriately.
• Actively identify customers who need help with technology services and items; model and assist with technology, identify shrink opportunities, maintain equipment, and promptly fix issues.
• Demonstrate core values: respect the individual, act with integrity, serve customers and members first, and strive for excellence.

• 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Customer service experience.
• Retail experience.
• Experience supervising a team.

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00*.

* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
