General Description
Beauty Lead provides a personalized shopping experience to customers by selling beauty products using product knowledge and the Connect, Inspire, Engage service model. The focus is on driving sales and customer service while maintaining consistency in general operations.
Primary Responsibilities- Proactively approach customers in a friendly manner, determine needs, and help them make buying decisions by sharing product knowledge and generating interest to increase and close sales.
- Drive self and prioritize meeting and exceeding performance/productivity standards, metrics and sales goals.
- Build loyalty through excellent customer service and promotion of Find More, Gift Card, Rewards, and Credit Programs as well as cross‑selling opportunities within the store.
- Resolve customer concerns by professionally listening and providing options, solutions and next steps.
- Handle point‑of‑sale checkout processes including sales, returns, exchanges, line management, re‑ticketing and processing returns.
- Facilitate beauty department promotions and events, assisting leaders to ensure standards and goals are met.
- Consistently meet established performance standards including product sales and customer service to exceed productivity expectations.
- Replenish products from shipments, stockrooms and understock while ensuring core standards and manage product testers.
- Conduct sales floor recovery processes to maintain an organized, clean and hygienic shopping environment to core standards.
- Prepare for inventory and related processes such as cycle counts, stock ledger updates, RFID scans and annual inventory.
- Assist the operations team with pricing, signing and merchandising to standards.
- Help onboard and train/cross‑train store associates on beauty procedures and processes, participating in ongoing skills development through company and vendor training.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Prioritizes customers, takes accountability, thinks critically, produces results, drives improvement and works collaboratively.
