Customer Service Rep, Retail & Store Manager
The City of Overland Park has a part-time Farmers'Market Attendant position available in the Parks and Recreation Department.
JOB SUMMARY STATEMENTAssists the Farmers’ Market Manager and Farmers' Market Coordinator with the on-site management and daily operation of the Farmers' Market on market days. Expected to maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all vendors, staff, DOP businesses and city policy. Indirectly reports to Senior Market Farmers’ Attendants.
Assists with the on-site operation of the Double Up Food Buck program. Enforces city policies and procedures and rulesand regulations for vendors and the public. Aids in customer service and vendor relations.
- High school diploma and/or equivalent preferred.
- One year working in a fast paced, customer service environment.
- Basic mathematical and accounting skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Organizational skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to access situation and make recommendations.
- Diplomacy and judgment.
- Ability to recognize and protect confidential information.
