SPX Technologies, a leader in HVAC and Detection & Measurement, is seeking an Aftermarket Key Account Manager to manage relationships with Marley's top customers. The role involves driving revenue growth, ensuring product and service fit, and meeting quarterly booking targets.
Job SummaryAs an Aftermarket Key Account Manager, you will build relationships with Marley’s top customers to implement key corporate initiatives and achieve revenue growth targets within the assigned account base.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain parts sales and customer relationships.
- Pursue and cultivate relationships within key accounts.
- Align channel sales and service teams to optimize customer product needs.
- Develop strategies for product introduction, quoting opportunities, and long‑term sales growth.
- Work with the quote and sales order support team to ensure accurate order processing.
- Present parts replacement proposals to customer accounts.
- Perform on‑site product inspections and recommend service solutions.
- Maintain Salesforce CRM to track customer engagement and revenue targets.
- Solicit and analyze customer feedback on product performance and pricing.
- Coordinate with regional sales teams to enhance key account management practices.
- 3+ years of direct sales experience with account management and CRM system practices.
- Knowledge of industrial markets or customers and cooling towers.
- Aftermarket or distributor sales experience.
- Experience with HVAC, industrial processes or power plants, and familiarity with engineering documents.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Project scheduling experience.
- Strong time‑management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, with focus or aptitude for mechanical processes.
- Driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Office-based Monday–Friday, with travel to customers as required.
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
- May involve work outside normal hours and in outdoor environments subject to noise, heat, or weather.
- Keyboarding/typing and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
- High-volume, fast-paced work environment.
