Beauty Counter Manager - Oak Park Mall

Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer experiences at an in‑store beauty counter, coaching and guiding customers through makeup applications, skincare consultations, and product recommendations. This role balances selling and teaching, drives counter sales through in‑person and digital channels, and coordinates vendor events and promotions to grow customer loyalty and achieve targets.

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products based on customer goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in‑store and digital selling tools, including text and social media
• Manage scheduling, execution of vendor events, and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollment
• Maintain counter presentation, organization, and cleanliness to ensure a customer‑ready environment

• Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service skills
• Ability to connect with customers, handle concerns empathetically, and build a customer following
• Strong multitasking, organizational skills, and ownership to meet sales and performance goals in a commissioned environment
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends and ability to continuously move for 6‑8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds
