Business Development Representative — Overland Park
Salary: $45,000–$60,000/yr + commission
Job Description- Drive new business through high-volume outbound calls and occasional onsite visits
- Research and qualify target accounts within assigned freight market segments
- Schedule discovery meetings with qualified prospects for the sales team
- Build and manage a daily/weekly sales pipeline using the company CRM
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of freight market trends and company service offerings
- Build long-term client relationships to uncover additional business opportunities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field). 2+ years of sales experience in the 3PL or transportation industry preferred. Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
