Membership Consultants play a key role in the company's overall success by achieving and exceeding membership sales and revenue goals and selling ancillary services. They contribute to member retention and satisfaction by advising members and guests on programs that will help them meet their long- and short-term health and fitness goals. They provide members and guests with legendary service and enhance their sense of belonging and community within the club.

Key responsibilities include:

• Achieving or exceeding individual membership sales goals by generating referrals, converting inquiries into appointments and following up with and closing prospects
• Implementing and adhering to all steps of the sales process
• Helping integrate new members into personal training
• Meeting weekly and monthly goals and metrics
• Developing leads through various activities
• Utilizing the lead tracking system to manage prospect and member data
• Ensuring CRM calendar is up-to-date before ending each shift
• Completing and submitting all new member paperwork
• Attending and participating in various meetings and events
• Knowing your competition and making suggestions to improve the club

Creating a customer service focused environment that is friendly, welcoming, and supportive, and seeks to provide members and guests with exceptional experiences includes:

• Ensuring superior customer service
• Creating and deepening relationships with members
• Dealing with member issues proactively
• Being knowledgeable about the company and its services

Contributing to the effective and efficient running of the day-to-day operations of the clubs and company includes:

• Working as part of the overall team
• Maintaining knowledge of the company and its services
• Being proficient in all club software systems
• Following all club policies and procedures
• Attending all meetings, special events, and education sessions

This is a full-time position. Your daily schedule will vary throughout the week depending on the needs of the club, the staff, and the members. Your hours will include prime time hours and some weekends and holidays. All members of the membership team will be required to work the last two days of the month. Special events, promotions, and other demands will require some early mornings and late nights.
