The Retirement Sales Consultant partners with Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) to drive new Taft-Hartley business development. This role manages sales opportunities, proposals, pricing, presentations, and intermediary relationships throughout the sales process.
What You Will Do- Lead RFPs, RFIs, pricing requests, and other sales opportunities from initial evaluation through close
- Partner with RSDs and internal teams to develop competitive proposals, pricing, and solutions tailored to prospect needs
- Support Stable Value Investment Only sales, including General Account, Custom Stable Value, and VEBA Stable Value products
- Coordinate and participate in finalist presentations, site visits, and prospect meetings
- Build and maintain relationships with retirement plan intermediaries and respond to inquiries
- Maintain opportunity and sales activity information in Salesforce, including win/loss outcomes
- Communicate opportunity progress and results to senior management and key stakeholders
- Support sales-related projects and initiatives as needed
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- 3–5 years of business experience
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations and applicable insurance licensing within corporate-established timelines
- FINRA Fingerprinting required
- Knowledge of the retirement plan services industry and experience working with intermediaries
- Financial services sales or service experience
- Strong communication, negotiation, project management, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to travel as needed
- Experience with Taft-Hartley retirement plans
- Experience with RFPs, pricing, and stable value products
- Salesforce experience

Base Salary Range $59,500.00 - $80,500.00
