Saint Lukes South Hospital in Overland Park, KS is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our team.
Shift Details: Full Time Evening 3pm‑1am Wheel Rotation
Minimum Age: 21 years or older.
Starting Hourly Rate: $25.00/hr
Responsibilities- Assist employees, patients, and visitors with parking needs and control entrances and exits to parking lots.
- Patrol the hospital campus and report safety/security issues per department procedures.
- Provide personal escorts and other routine security services to employees, patients, and visitors.
- Work autonomously as well as with a team, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Minimum 2 years of security experience (private officer, commission, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong customer service, communication, and computer skills.
- Knowledge of CCTV, security protocols, NIST standards, DoD security, RMF, etc. (desired).
