What You'll Do:- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de‑escalating disruptive behavior and reporting observations to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, foot traffic management, and restricted area observation in accordance with location protocols.
- Document incidents, daily activities, and policy-related concerns, and/or communicate relevant information to supervisors, staff, and emergency responders as needed.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue environment.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to restrain individuals, as required in a hospital environment.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
