** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to post guidelines.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and visitor movement, assist with badge and entry protocols, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with healthcare staff and the public, following post orders, and assisting with routine security-related duties as assigned.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
