** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including support during medical-related emergencies and access concerns.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and help manage the flow of visitors, patients, and staff in accordance with site protocols, while reporting suspicious activity and/or policy concerns.

+ Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site contacts.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Meet hospital vaccination requirements.

+ Be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
