Armed Security Officer
Saint Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park, KS is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our team.
Shift: Full Time, Evenings 3pm - 1am, Wheel Rotation.
Starting hourly rate: $25.00/hr.
Responsibilities- Assist employees, patients, and visitors with parking needs.
- Control entrances and exits to parking lots.
- Patrol hospital campus and report safety and security issues according to department procedures.
- Provide personal escorts and other routine security services to employees, patients, and visitors.
- Work autonomously as well as with a team.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Less than 1 year applicable experience.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- RQI – Resuscitation Quality Improvement certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Private Officer Commission — Various.
- Positive attitude, strong customer service skills, willingness to work, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
