Job Description
Saint Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park, KS is hiring an Armed Security Officer.
Shift DetailsFull Time, Day shift 6am-4pm, Wheel Rotation.
CompensationStarting hourly rate of $25.00 per hour, based on education, certification, and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol hospital campus and parking lots to ensure safety and security.
- Assist employees, patients, and visitors with parking and entry/exit control.
- Provide personal escorts and routine security services as needed.
- Respond to incidents and report issues according to department procedures.
- Work autonomously and collaborate with a team.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
- Armed Private Officer certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) credential.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong customer service skills, positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
