Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.02 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thu 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas, helping to manage access, observe activity, and report concerns according to site protocols.
• Support a professional atmosphere by offering directions, assisting with visitor questions, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or security‑related issues to the appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Required vaccinations for a hospital environment are required.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals, as permitted by law and site policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
