• Training and managing assigned paint crew/custodians in the following areas:
  Painting services, quality control, keeping paint records, identifying paint colors and controlling the amount of paint used in buildings.
• Provides painting services with specific responsibility for preparing (i.e. cleaning, sanding, patching, masking, nail holes, cracks, joints, etc.), painting a variety of surfaces, and ensuring assigned projects are completed within the established time period. Furniture moving is required in preparation to paint and to also return the area back to how it was previously set-up after the project is completed.
• Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include:
  Operating equipment used in painting including brushes, rollers, ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, etc.
• The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands:
  Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; significant climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 30% walking, and 65% standing.

• Experience or demonstrated ability in painting services, quality control, and paint record-keeping.
• Competence in preparing surfaces for painting, painting a variety of surfaces, and ensuring project completion within deadlines.
• Ability to operate painting equipment (brushes, rollers, ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, etc.).
• Physical ability to meet the listed demands (lifting, carrying, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling; dexterity).
