In-Home Installation Technician

As an In-Home Installation Technician, you’ll deliver, install, integrate, and troubleshoot consumer electronics such as home theater, computing, smart home, and networking products while ensuring a seamless customer experience.

• Provide a seamless customer experience by advising and fulfilling lifestyle recommendations regarding products and services.
• Perform delivery, installation, integration, networking, and troubleshooting of consumer electronics devices.
• Take the lead on two-person jobs and work independently on single tasks.
• Manage inventory, vehicle maintenance, process paperwork and payment, provide feedback and training opportunities, and follow safety guidelines.

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy safety standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required state or local licensing within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds alone (or with reasonable accommodation) and up to 150 pounds as part of a team (or with accommodation).
• Ability to lift up to 250 pounds as part of a team using support tools such as harnesses or lifts.
• Minimum 6 months of consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration, and troubleshooting experience.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
