HVAC Foreman Job Overview:
We are looking for a capable and experienced HVAC Foreman to oversee our installation and service teams. The HVAC Foreman will be responsible for coordinating and supervising HVAC projects, ensuring efficient and high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in HVAC systems, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair projects.
Assign tasks to lead installer ensuring work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, diagrams, and specifications to install HVAC systems according to design plans Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance of HVAC systems.
Train and mentor HVAC technicians on installation techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to schedule installations and service appointments.
Order materials and equipment necessary for HVAC projects, ensuring availability and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Troubleshoot HVAC systems and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked by team members.
Ability to track and maintain projects per budget
Track & record the proper cost codes per items installing
Detailing of ductwork per plans
Fabricate field offsets as needed
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role, with at least 8-12 years in a lead capacity.
Proven experience as an HVAC Foreman or similar leadership role in the HVAC industry.
Certification from an accredited HVAC program or relevant trade school knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
