We are seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to support residential heating and cooling projects across our national platform. The role focuses on delivering accurate, profit‑oriented estimates and providing technical guidance.

• Review HVAC service requests, diagnostic reports, photos, videos, and contractor proposals.
• Develop detailed estimates for residential HVAC repairs, replacements, and installations.
• Validate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing across multiple markets.
• Identify incomplete scopes, missing line items, and opportunities to improve estimate accuracy.
• Serve as the primary HVAC expert for internal teams including Sales, Operations, and Customer Success.
• Provide recommendations on repair versus replacement decisions.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of the flat‑rate HVAC pricing catalog.
• Communicate directly with contractors, property managers, and customers when clarification is needed.
• Review system sizing recommendations, equipment specifications, and installation scopes.
• Track estimate status and ensure timely turnaround on quote requests.
• Support quality assurance efforts by reviewing completed jobs and estimate outcomes.

• 5+ years of residential HVAC experience.
• EPA certification (required).
• Strong understanding of HVAC diagnostics, repairs, system replacements, heat pumps, furnaces, condensers, air handlers, refrigerant systems, ductwork, and ventilation systems.
• Experience creating estimates, bids, or proposals.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC equipment manufacturers and pricing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable reviewing photos, videos, and remote diagnostics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and web‑based software.

• HVAC Contractor License or Journeyman License.
• Experience with single‑family rental (SFR) properties.
• Experience managing HVAC projects.
• Previous estimating, service management, or operations experience.
• Multi‑state HVAC code knowledge.
• Familiarity with Manual J load calculations and system sizing.

Full‑time, Monday to Friday Day Shift; no routine field work required. Located in Overland Park, Kansas (in‑office). Salary range $90,000–$100,000 per year with bonus opportunity.
