Location OverviewOur key office in the Overland Park Xchange (OPx) is located in Overland Park, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. The OPx business park offers modern infrastructure and a collaborative environment ideal for financial services and technology industries.
Role OverviewWe develop, automate and support continuously running tests for our real‑time systems. As a senior QA engineer, you’ll combine Dev Ops and QA best practices to enable frequent, fast delivery of high‑quality software, focusing on system reliability, testability, recoverability and fault tolerance.
What You’ll Do- Estimate, plan, and lead testing efforts.
- Translate testing requirements into automated regression tests for our Exchange platforms.
- Review code and guide newer team members.
- Contribute to new tool designs and testing techniques.
- Apply modern AI techniques to QA activities within the software development life cycle.
- Become familiar with supported asset classes such as equities, options, futures, and indices, and apply this knowledge to develop a wide variety of test scenarios.
- AI and Automation
:
Demonstrable experience with an AI‑centric SDLC in QA; practical experience with tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex or similar; familiarity with agentic AI frameworks — Lang Chain, Auto Gen, or equivalents; a builder’s instinct to remove friction with AI. - Core Engineering Skills
:
Three to five years of QA experience, recent and demonstrable experience coding and enhancing test frameworks and creating automated test cases; one to three years of experience planning, organizing, and leading test efforts or testing teams; solid Python programming chops; solid Linux skills. - Supporting Technical Skills
:
Databases (PostgreSQL preferred, MySQL or Oracle) with working SQL proficiency;
Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence);
Git‑based version control; CI/CD tooling experience (including Jenkins);
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field – or equivalent experience.

Salary RangesThe anticipated base salary range for this role is $93,500-$121,000, with actual compensation determined by job‑related factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal alignment, and location.
