Local CDL Delivery Driver (Open)

- Full‑time consistent scheduling, Monday through Friday, with possible alternating weekends on call as needed
Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes. Handle loading/unloading, collect empty cylinders, record transactions, obtain signatures, and address customer inquiries. Conduct pre/post‑trip vehicle checks, maintain vehicle safety compliance, and present a professional appearance.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a Customer Ambassador: primary point of contact for customers, deliver compressed gas cylinders, handle orders, resolve complaints, and build strong relationships.
- Ensure safety and efficiency: load, transport, and unload products in accordance with DOT and company regulations.
- Maintain vehicle: perform routine maintenance checks and keep the truck clean and ready for daily operation.
- Meet physical requirements: lift 25–75 lbs regularly and up to 125+ lbs with material handling equipment, bend, walk, stand, and drive for up to 8 hours a day while handling hazardous cargo.
- At least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience verifiable under DOT requirements within the past five years, or a recent graduate of an accredited driving school. Exceptional customer service skills and a proactive attitude are a plus.
- Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement, or the ability to obtain a Hazmat endorsement upon contingency of offer.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR); minimum age 21.
- Physical stamina for lifting, bending, walking, standing, and driving; capability to handle hazardous cargo safely.
- Skills:
work independently, manage time effectively, and read/comprehend material safety data sheets.
