Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour

Job description:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including skid loader, mini excavator, dozer, large track loader, haul trucks and scrapers.
• Comfortably and confidently operate grade rod
• Read and understand plans for basement projects and road projects with no supervision.
• Mandatory snow removal operating plow truck, skid loader and wheel loader
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Safely transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating heavy equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

• Previous experience in heavy equipment operation is required.
• Proficient in operating a variety of heavy equipment such as skid loader, mini excavator, dozer, large track loader, haul trucks and scrapers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• CDL class B Driver Experience required. Ability to drive a manual with a class A results in increased pay
