Material Handler
The Material Handler plays a crucial role in our warehouse operations, performing duties akin to those of a Warehouse Clerk. This role requires flexibility and adaptability as each order may vary based on customer needs. You will engage in tasks such as picking and pulling kits, inventory control through cycle counting, and logging items using software. Additionally, you will operate tools like pallet jacks and hand-carts to move materials and build crates for international shipments.

- Execute general warehouse tasks including picking, stacking, racking, stocking, boxing, moving, organizing, cleaning, and sweeping.
- Perform dock work and manage shipping and receiving processes.
- Maintain inventory control through cycle counting, stocking, tracking, replenishment, and labeling.
- Follow work orders and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Conduct crating and packing activities such as measuring, cutting, wrapping, insulating, foam wrapping, bubble wrapping, and plastic wrapping.
- Pack parts of kits securely for truck-proof shipping.
- Material handling proficiency.
- Inventory management expertise.
- Competence in computer operation and data entry.
- Experience with cycle counting.
- Ability to perform computer transactions using software systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in warehousing.
- Comfortability and experience with sit-down forklifts.
- Capability to handle inventory and perform cycle counts efficiently.

Work EnvironmentOur manufacturing facility is clean, organized, and climate-controlled. You will work Monday through Friday, from 7:00am to 4:00pm, in a supportive and structured environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland Park, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
