To gain structured training and knowledge of early childhood education through hands‑on modeling of best practices, ongoing guidance, and encouragement of reflective teaching.

• Work closely in assigned classroom with mentor teacher to build knowledge and skills in early childhood education.
• Engage in guided teaching experiences to develop practical skills in early childhood education.
• Engage in reflective mentor and coaching sessions to strengthen skills and improve early childhood education practices
• Observe classroom instruction and teaching practices to gain insight and support professional growth in early childhood education
• Engage in professional development, mandatory training, and classroom meetings to enhance skills through the mentoring experience.
• Demonstrate professionalism by seeking guidance, welcoming feedback, and actively participating in the learning process

Working knowledge and understanding

Effectively communicate with mentor teachers and parents to enhance the learning experience

A high school diploma /GED and willing to obtain a CDA

• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
