** Job Description
** Schnucks Bakery Plant is now hiring Bakery Plant Workers in various areas including Production Line Workers, Sanitation and Shipping. Hours for these roles vary by position.
** The Schnucks Bakery Plant is located at 8590 Page Ave, St Louis, MO 63114.
** You could expect the position of the Bakery Plant Worker to include any of the following:

*
* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

*** Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
* Preparing breads, cakes, donuts and other pastries, including icings and frostings, according to established recipes
* Packaging fresh-baked products
* Operating mixers, bread slicer, ovens and proof boxes
* Constantly cleaning work area and equipment following company safety and sanitation guidelines
* Moving and cleaning heavy equipment
* Constantly cleaning work area and equipment following company safety and sanitation guidelines
* Cleaning floors
* Loading and unloading deliveries
* Handling and shipping bakery products
* Safely lifting and bending when loading product on truck
* Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of supervisor/management
** TRAINING:
*** Training will be provided at facility level.
** PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
*** Bending* Stooping
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
* Must be able to work in an environment with varying temperature (-10 to 100+ degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the position)
* Working on feet entire shift (8-10 hours)
** Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates:
*** Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
* Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
* Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
* If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
