Parks Maintenance Worker II (Laborer)
Full‑time, entry‑level position. The selected individual will perform routine manual work, drive trucks, and operate small equipment.
Responsibilities- Load and unload heavy material or equipment.
- Use all hand tools and some power equipment.
- Operate a riding mower, push mower and all handheld lawn equipment.
- Dig holes and trenches, and perform daily park restroom cleaning.
- Maintain landscaping and assist in construction projects, including concrete, asphalt, tree trimming and grading.
- Snow plowing/salt and other duties as assigned.
Background checks are required. Position is open until filled.
Qualifications- U.S. Citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain a CDL Class B Driver’s License within six months of employment.
- At least one (1) to three (3) years of experience in municipal maintenance preferred.
Minimum starting salary: $21.6360 per hour. Salary determined by DOQ/E EOE.
