Position Overview
As a Personal Banker within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will be based in Baltimore, Maryland and work as part of an in‑office team that prioritizes a collaborative, supportive culture. You will keep your branch operating efficiently while ensuring a high‑quality customer experience.
Responsibilities- Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
- Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial wellbeing.
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customers’ share of wallet.
- Position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
- Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, including outbound calling, service‑to‑sales, teller interactions, appointment setting and effective lobby engagement.
- Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions.
- Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
- Create customer loyalty and grow customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience.
- Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
- Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
- Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively to drive loyalty.
- Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
- Demonstrate heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss.

Roles at this level typically require an Associate’s degree or equivalent. Three or more years of relevant experience is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience—including military service—may be considered.

Pay TransparencyBase Salary: $45,375.00 – $75,625.00. Overtime and incentive compensation may apply based on company and individual performance.
