Role
The Travel Med Surg RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions
- Monitor cardiac telemetry
- Administer medications
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Document care
- Ensure safety and infection control
- Advocate for patients
- Facilitate discharge planning
- Perform assigned duties within scope of practice
- Requires at least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical, motor, sensory, and mental abilities are essential
