Key Qualifications:

• Valid Educator Certification and National Certification required
• Experience teaching visually impaired students in a school setting strongly preferred
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility, adaptability, and positivity in a dynamic, school-based environment
• Willingness to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including district background check

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support services to students with visual impairments
• Develop and implement individualized plans in coordination with school staff and families
• Consult on accessible materials, assistive technology, and instructional strategies for classroom inclusion
• Work with students across varying age groups and schools (caseload details to be determined)
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and collaborate in IEP meetings
• Participate in ongoing professional development relevant to visual impairment education
