** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required by location procedures, and report concerns involving restricted areas, after-hours access, and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Document incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations in required logs or reports, and support healthcare location protocols related to privacy, professionalism, and respectful interactions.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Applicants must be 21+ years of age.

+ A guard card/license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control/badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
